It's that time again! On February 15, we will join with advocates from across the state to learn from each
other, strengthen our community and create a powerful voice for children and families.
This year, Have a Heart for Kids Day will be a collaborative effort between The Washington State
Association of Head Start and ECEAP, Children’s Alliance, Save the Children Action
Network, Washington Family Engagement, Social Venture Partners, and Families of Color
Seattle.
This event will take place virtually and in-person in Olympia, Washington. Advocacy trainings begin at 8:00 AM, with 9:00 and 10:00 AM options for later arrivals.
Our program includes:
Optional online pre-event trainings on issues affecting children in Washington
Day-of advocacy trainings
Lunch provided for in-person attendees
Opportunities to visit with your legislators
An afternoon rally on the capitol steps, with featured speakers First Lady Trudi Inslee, Senator Andy Billig, Senator Claire Wilson, Representative Emily Alvarado and Representative Tana Senn

This annual advocacy day event is your opportunity to tap into your personal political power and make a difference for kids and families in Washington.
This event is being hosted by a collaboration of six child-serving organizations in Washington state. Together with communities and advocates like you, we are a powerful force for change on issues like Early Learning, Child Care, Youth Mental Health, Childhood Nutrition, Economic Stability for Families, and more.
